Delivering a Sustainable Broadband Network Solution
Webinar archive

The American Recovery and Re-investment Act (ARRA) includes substantial funding for constructing networks that deliver universal, nationwide broadband access to areas currently not well covered. These networks must use middle mile architectures with an optical backbone capable of flexibly and economically grooming traffic of any type. The access network must include a hybrid of copper, optical and wireless backhaul technologies. These technologies must scale efficiently, yet be highly reliable and resilient. And the network must support a range of end users including government, hospitals, business and residences.  In this webinar, we discuss the key technologies that deliver the a sustainable broadband network solution.

Watch this webinar and discover how:

  • A full service metro architecture is constructed
  • Packet-Optical technologies deliver an optimized method for service convergence
  • G.709 OTN delivers maximum deployment flexibility and economies of scale
  • Carrier Ethernet enables resiliency and network dependability
