    David is a principal of Broadband Success Partners, a consultancy focused on the marketing, technology and finance needs of service and technology providers. He has over 25 years of senior marketing, business development and sales experience in B2B telecommunications and technology.  Prior to starting Broadband Success Partners, David designed and executed the marketing launch plan for the Metro Ethernet services of Comcast Business. He was also the VP of Marketing for Lightpath (Cablevision/Altice). Earlier in his career, David lead the Marketing team that launched Sprint’s wireless business in the New York Metro Area. He also worked at AT&T Wireless, IBM and Juniper. He has an MBA from NYU and a BA from Tufts University.

    Fernando Villarruel

    Fernando Villarruel, Chief Architect, MSO Practice, Ciena

    Fernando Villarruel is the Chief MSO Architect for Ciena, where he has responsibility for the long-term vision of cable access networking, which includes all Layer 1-3 activities. Fernando has delivered impactful solutions to the MSO space for more than 17 years, first making fundamental contributions to linear access networks, and now leading the transition to the Ethernet/IP networks needed to build out Distributed Access Architectures.
